I was born in Bismarck, ND. I grew up in a family full of artistic and crafty people-so naturally I was drawn into art. As a young child, I remember always drawing on things and sometimes on myself. During my teen and high school day's, I really focused on all forms of art and studying different aspects: Painting, Charcoal, watercolor, ink press, pastels, and many more!

I was drawn to painting the most, as I enjoyed the complexity of all different techniques used. and even had a few of my own paintings win awards in the North Dakota Governors Art Show. Following high school, the tattooing process and art form started to peak my interest and after collecting a few art pieces myself, I decided to into the industry. So after a few years of searching I found a reputable tattoo studio and did my apprenticeship. 

One year into my tattoo career, I was featured in the tattoo magazine, "Tattoo for Men". That's when I started to really take off as an artist. I traveled around to conventions when I could- Having multiple tattoos win awards. Also, meeting artists that inspire me to work harder. Putting many years in the shop I learned a lot and with the help of my wife Heather we decided to go out and start our own studio (Inknetic Studio). This is where I now focus on my craft, in my own environment. I enjoy almost every style tattooing. I really like animal portraits and watercolors. It's also super fun to do the really out there colorful illustrative tattoos. Smooth black & grey is always a blast too! Also, I specialize in cover ups and tattoo redo's. As a 20+ year tattoo artist, I try my best to make my client happy and to enjoy what they have on their bodies.
